1. USAGE RIGHTS
This free software may be installed, used, and modified for any purpose (private and commercial) subject to the restrictions below.
2. COMMERCIAL EXPLOITATION
Strictly limited to:
a) Custom solutions developed for individual end clients
b) Extensions created and sold exclusively for use with NUOS WEB PLATFORM
3. RESTRICTIONS
You are expressly prohibited from:
a) Redistributing original or modified code except for single-client deployments under 2a
b) Charging fees for licensing or usage rights to the software itself
c) Incorporating licensed material into standalone applications
4. DISTRIBUTION SOURCES
The software may only be obtained from:
- Official source: https://nuos-cms.org
- Authorized mirrors (listed on the official website)
5. DISCLAIMER
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO CASES OF INTENTIONAL MISCONDUCT OR GROSS NEGLIGENCE.
6. ATTRIBUTION REQUIREMENTS
You must maintain without modification:
- Copyright notices, file headers, license files, and the README.md
- All identification constants (CMS_SOFTWARE, CMS_VERSION, CMS_COPYRIGHT, CMS_HOMEPAGE, CMS_IDENTIFIER, CMS, and CMS_USER_AGENT) as well as their functional implementation and output (e.g., in HTTP headers, User-Agent strings, meta tags, and footers)
- Visible branding markings in the user interface
7. TERMINATION
License rights terminate immediately upon violation.
All instances must be deactivated within 24 hours of notification.
8. SEVERABILITY
If any provision is deemed unenforceable:
- All other terms remain in full effect
- The invalid provision shall be replaced by a mutually agreed valid clause that preserves the original intent
9. GOVERNING LAW
German law applies.
Exclusive jurisdiction is Düsseldorf.
